Challenge
Msg Perfumes needed more than a standard online store. The brand serves Gulf customers who switch between Arabic and English, expect a smooth mobile shopping experience, and use different payment and verification methods such as cards, Tabby, and WhatsApp OTP.
Before the new platform, catalog management, orders, customer information, and shipping operations were handled across separate tools and workflows. Guests were also required to create an account before completing their purchase, adding unnecessary friction to the checkout experience.
The operations team needed a single system where they could manage products, customers, orders, payments, and shipping from one place, while customers could browse in their preferred language, complete their purchase easily, and see the applicable shipping cost before paying.
Solution
We built a custom commerce platform around how the brand really sells:
A Next.js storefront on msgperfumes.com with full Arabic and English shopping.
A Laravel API that owns catalog, cart, checkout, orders, payments, and shipping.
A Filament admin for products, customers, orders, roles, settings, and shipment create.
Guest cart so people buy first; identify and upgrade to an account without losing the basket.
WhatsApp OTP for registration and resets, with email fallback if WhatsApp is off or fails.
Stripe and Tabby in the same checkout path.
SMSA and Aramex quotes at checkout (UAE domestic estimates plus international contract tables), then shipment from admin.
Separate hosts for storefront, API, and admin so the public shop never shares the staff panel.
Result
The new platform gives Msg Perfumes a smoother shopping experience and a more centralized way to run its daily operations.
Customers can now shop in Arabic or English, complete their purchase without being forced to create an account, verify through WhatsApp, choose their available payment method, and see the applicable shipping cost before completing payment.
For the operations team, products, customers, orders, payments, and shipping are managed from one administration platform instead of being spread across separate tools and workflows.
The Laravel API also provides a scalable foundation that can support future applications, channels, and integrations without rebuilding the commerce system from scratch.
The result is a Gulf ready commerce platform built specifically for the brand's operations and customer experience, rather than a standard e-commerce template.
